A Study on Style with She One and Cla “Golden Skans”

When talking about style one must remember that style is in itself a concept. And one made up of a synthesis of concepts. Its a shorthand and a reference to other ideas. When presented  a concept or a matter of content that is being created it can be created with or without a unique style. But does the content change when someone has added there style into the process of creating it? Style used carelessly can really become meaningless. When used as part of a process involved with developing your content style can be the final solution in a work of art and leaving you feel victorious! Some Designers and Artists alike fight over the idea of Concept over Style and vise vrsa but really Style is a concept within itself. Style that works is a concept and a concept that doesn’t work has not been styled correctly.

Wether it be Cinema, Painting or Music Style is the Message!

Every artists battles with the need to progress in his own work, the need to create and push his or her own style is always apparent. The moment we hesitate to produce better work is the moment we find ourselves content, thus leaving the passion for our art behind us. Style plays a large part of any art medium. From a Film Maker to Graffiti Art, One’s STYLE defines us and separates us.

While starting to write this article one artist that popped out in my head was London artist SHE ONE. One for his obviously unique style but also his willing to push it for so long and have it progress to the place it has. Painting with cans for over 30 years, She One has made a career out of his perfected signature style.
