The designs originate from a diverse group of talents, occupying many different spaces within the world of art and graphic design. We’re very excited to share our latest project with you all; “Life Line” by Brooklyn Based Stencil Master, Logan Hicks. (www.workhorsevisuals.com)
This print will be available at www.jetsetgraffiti.com on June 9th, 2010. Release is at 12PM PST, 3PM EST, 8PM
Known around the world as one of the hardest working artists alive, Logan is among the most talented contemporary artists today. His vision is exacting, and his standards are extremely high. After months of discussions, we decided to use a special Liquid Graphite Pigment with Silver Flake to provide the solid slate-like feel that Logan wanted in this print while maintaining a sense of depth and variation that is so important to his artwork. The results are striking. As a special variation for the collectors, we also printed 15 with Gold Metallic inks.

Meet Nick Sambrato. He runs a print shop in Orlando, Florida called Mama’s Sauce.
Nick isn’t a very smart guy. At a time in history when the print industry is pouncing from one space-age technological advancement to the next, Nick has decided to take a giant leap backwards into the industrial revolution.
Meet the Kluge letterpress. An 2,000 pound, cast iron, electric powered monstrosity of vacillating rods, giant spinning wheels and pneumatic hoses. The Kluge is Nick’s weapon of choice in his battle against the future.
So why does Nick use the Kluge? A clearly outdated, cumbersome and obsolete machine? The same reason any craftsman uses any tool: for the quality of the finished product. A letterpress offers a tangible, three-dimensional look and feel to the printed image that no other technology can replicate.
Let Nick take you on a trip back in time as he runs through the process of turning an ordinary piece of paper stock into work of art.

Banksy’s Exit Through the Gift Shop – a review by our friends Mutate Britain
You have to give the man credit, he’s stretched himself again and delivered a film that’s funny, well paced and will appeal to a wider audience than me and the rest of the London questionable haircut crew. The Cordy House Obey Giant was in there twice at the start… but we painted over it the other day to make way for new work.
In terms of its construction as a film it’s better than of 90% of the documentaries released by ’serious’ film makers, so well done Banksy, you’ve cut a great and even important film from an insane pile of tapes built up by the film’s lead character: Thiery ‘Mr Brainwash’ Guetta.
Guetta is the cousin of Invader and a tirelessly chirpy screwball Frenchman with a video camera, nothing more. At this point in time he’s not a film maker and he’s not an artist. Like I said, he’s a likeable screwball Frenchman with a video camera – and a big fat PR machine. But hey, maybe that’s what art is now. The film certainly doesn’t deny it, but it does show the ridiculousness of it all. It’s up to you to draw your own conclusions.

A Study on Style with She One and Cla “Golden Skans”
When talking about style one must remember that style is in itself a concept. And one made up of a synthesis of concepts. Its a shorthand and a reference to other ideas. When presented a concept or a matter of content that is being created it can be created with or without a unique style. But does the content change when someone has added there style into the process of creating it? Style used carelessly can really become meaningless. When used as part of a process involved with developing your content style can be the final solution in a work of art and leaving you feel victorious! Some Designers and Artists alike fight over the idea of Concept over Style and vise vrsa but really Style is a concept within itself. Style that works is a concept and a concept that doesn’t work has not been styled correctly.
Wether it be Cinema, Painting or Music Style is the Message!
Clã “Golden Skans” (versão Antena 3)
Every artists battles with the need to progress in his own work, the need to create and push his or her own style is always apparent. The moment we hesitate to produce better work is the moment we find ourselves content, thus leaving the passion for our art behind us. Style plays a large part of any art medium. From a Film Maker to Graffiti Art, One’s STYLE defines us and separates us.
While starting to write this article one artist that popped out in my head was London artist SHE ONE. One for his obviously unique style but also his willing to push it for so long and have it progress to the place it has. Painting with cans for over 30 years, She One has made a career out of his perfected signature style.
Improvise, adapt, dominate, Style is the message – Justin Snyder
